Tailored to Mediterranean fishing operators, boat designers and builders, the Green fishing supporting structure is composed of two toolkits addressing respectively:
short-term toolkit, improvements that are currently (2025–2030) achievable thanks to solutions widely available off the shelf and aligned with the regulatory regime currently in force;
medium-term toolkit, interventions that are likely to be possible from 2030 thanks to enabling factors being deployed such as, for example, alternative fuel infrastructures, green corridors, shipbuilding value chains as well as a finalised regulatory regime (as of today still under development).
